Today Anamoose held their annual city-wide Customer Appreciation Pancake Day-but no pancakes. It was decided to serve French toast & sausage this year. Mike Rudnick chaired the event.
It is sponsored by the Anamoose VFW 6831 & the Anamoose Civic Club. It is mostly run by volunteer men-I only saw one woman working. I don’t know why, but it has always been men doing the planning & work. I doubt that any women are going to protest, especially since the men do such a great job.
