Heather & children. Troy was at work.

On 03/07/13 we welcomed Heather and Troy Burrington, along with children Marilyn (13), Schuyler (8) and Greyson (4) Peterson.  They come to us from Corcoran, MN and have purchased the former Edgar Rath home.  They checked out Anamoose through the internet and found what they were looking for – a small friendly community away from large cities to raise their family.

Troy is a roofer with Sunrise Exteriors in Minot.  As we all know Minot has a lot of building projects that will keep him very busy.  Heather is still getting the house together and very busy with the three children.  They are excited about their new school and friends.  Hobbies for Heather include gardening and Troy likes to fish when he has the time.  They take camping trips as a family.  The boys are into video games and Marilyn loves art.  They have had many trials with the move regarding the house that cost them additional money with the latest being hitting one of our ND deer with their car.  We wish them better luck from now on – please greet them when you see them!

jorie and familyOn 03/14/13, I welcomed Jory, Carrie Hager and 2 year old AJ (Allen Joseph) who come to us from Bismarck.  They purchased the former Elroy Stotz home and both are originally from the Anamoose/Drake area.  They have a beautiful orange and white cat named Lilly and enjoy being back close to family and friends.

Jory farms with his dad Allen and is a diesel mechanic for Butler Machinery of Bismarck.  He is a graduate of Wahpeton State School of Science.  Carrie is an Occupational Therapist, graduating from University of Mary, has an office in Dr Weber’s clinic and works for Positive Progressions Therapy.  She makes home and school visits traveling  to area schools in Harvey, Drake,  Anamoose and McClusky.  Hobbies for Carrie right now is keeping up with AJ and both her and Jory enjoy snowmobile riding, hunting and fishing.  Welcome back!!
