A total of $9,200 were awarded by the Anamoose Area Community Development for the year 2020. Due to the pandemic, the grants were awarded to the non-profit organizations at the individual location the grants were applied for. The following grants were approved and distributed:
$500 -Anamoose Ball Park Concession Stand
$4,400 – Anamoose Housing Cabinet Replacement Project
$500 – Anamoose Main Street Flowers
$2,300 -Anamoose School Water Fountain
$1500 -Tri-County Meal Services Nutrition Program
The Anamoose Area Community Foundation was established in 2008 and provides a method of receiving donations to benefit non-profit projects and programs in the Anamoose area. The Foundation is affiliated with the ND Community Foundation, which is a non-profit tax-exempt corporation under IRS Code 501(c))3) and ND Law.
Since being organized in 2008, the Anamoose Area Community Foundation has awarded 54 grants for a grand total of $76,178. The AACF thanks the surrounding community for their generous support each year which makes the gtrants possible.
